A sweatshirt with your own text is the simplest way to get clothing that is truly yours. Quotes and song lyrics
Short quotes work best: two to six words on the chest. Song lyrics, lines from your favorite shows and the classics all work well: Carpe diem, Take it easy, Love yourself. Font and thread color
Bold, old-school letters suit a single word. For quotes and dates, a simple sans-serif font or a handwritten script looks better.
Choose a contrasting thread colorWhite or cream on a black or navy sweatshirt, black on beige or gray, and an accent color (burgundy, forest green, dusty pink) if you want the text to be the first thing people see.
Embroidery or print
Machine embroidery is raised, matte and does not wear off in the wash, which is why we recommend it for text that should last for years. Print gives you more colors and very thin letters, so it works well for long texts. We compare both techniques in our article embroidery vs. print.

How long can the text be?
From one word to a few short lines. On the chest, text of up to six words looks best; for longer texts we recommend print.
Can I use accents and symbols?
Accented letters, yes, in every font. Graphic symbols such as a heart or a star can be added as a small embroidered element; just mention it in the personalization field.
Can the text be in another language?
Yes. We embroider text in English, Spanish, German and other languages that use the Latin alphabet. For other alphabets, please write to us before you order.
Can I return a sweatshirt with my own text?
Items with your text are made to order, so they cannot be returned for a change of mind. If there is a defect or misprint, we will send a free reprint or a refund. See our refund policy.
